About
The Sughar Foundation is a non-profit promoting beautiful traditions and providing socio-economic empowerment to women in tribal communities in Pakistan. Our aim is to end the consequences of exchanged marriage, child marriages, and honor killings.

The Sughar Foundation establishes Sughar Centers in villages that offer a six-month training program. The program raises awareness of women’s equality and integrates cultural traditions such as embroidery, art, and music with entrepreneurship training and other life skills. Upon graduation, grants and partnerships are offered to select individuals to launch their own businesses. These partnerships are resource-based and linked to markets and other retailers for further support.
